Just for today Narcotic Anonymous recovery meeting.
Weekly Sunday’s 17:30 – 18:45 is our child friendly recovery meeting ran by NA. Addiction in any form ripples through families. It’s not only the person living with the addiction who suffers, but their children, families and friends.
So, when we were asked in November 2025 if we’d be open to a potential new local NA group using our space for their weekly recovery meeting, we of course said yes. With bells on!
Nine months in and a creche now runs at the same time, so adults can attend their face to face meeting. Not everyone has childcare and support. People are literally dying everyday through addiction. Children lose parents.
People and families DO RECOVER. Don’t suffer alone.

I KNOW this is early but planting the seed as you start making plans for Christmas & New Year.
Family time is precious and holidays can be quiet. Bank Holiday was really quiet. We will open between Christmas & New Year IF we have advance bookings. If we have no advance bookings we will take an extended break with our families as lots of other organisations do.
If we see bookings coming in we will defo open. Book now to ensure your relaxed festive hangout.

We launched family friendly business networking at The Hang Out as it is a super relaxed massive playroom/front room community venue for children and families. We thought it would be welcoming to connect in a child and family friendly relaxed welcoming space with a supportive network. It didn’t quite evolve as we hoped and envisaged. It ticked by. Over the last year we’ve made some wonderful connections, reconnected, supported and hungout with some wonderful people, some with children in tow, others without.
Rosemary’s path has changed and The Hang Out is evolving based on what our community needs us to be, and we are getting busier. Our celebration of 1 year will also be the last Family Friendly business networking meeting ‘for now’. Who knows what the future holds.
For now we pause these, but continue connecting.
With love
Kasia, Founder/Owner & Rach (Manager) The Hang Out Venue & Rosemary Cunningham.
