Life isn’t designed to be 100 miles an hour. It’s about connection, being in the moment and making memories. The Hang Out Venue is run by two local Mum’s and has a super relaxed home from home welcoming community vibe. With traditional toys, variety of arts and crafts including knitting, crochet and sewing, table tennis, table football, air-hockey, gaming, eclectic selection of board games, chess, book exchange, reading areas and so much more. There’s something for all ages.
We have wonderful family play rooms for stay and play, for hire and work with lots of local community groups and services. As a social enterprise community, connection and profit doing good is everything. Our whole mission is to enhance the lives of children, families and our communities.
Our boys leave juniors school in a few weeks (I actually can’t even think about it without my eyes filling up and getting a lump in my throat) 
. We have last sports day, prom and leavers assemblies etc so Thursday 16th July we close eat 3pm and are closed the whole day on Friday 17th July . Contact booking will be honoured.

- One Hour £5.00 per child (age 1 – 18) £2.50 per child (under 1’s)
- Two hours £8.99 per child (age 1 – 18) £5.00 per child (under 1)
- Up to two adults free per booking.
- Summer Play Passes £40 per child aged 1+ from Mon 27 July to Sun 6 September
- 4 weeks Full play pass £45 per child valid for 4 weeks.
- Off peak £30 Monday – Friday for 4 weeks. Excludes summer holidays and weekends.

We are hosting stay and play for local schools within a 2 mile ish radius. Date are below.
To book your one hour session click here . Select one hour hangout and chose your date and time. They are not set up as a specific session. We look forward to welcoming you and seeing you connect with other families, who children will potentially spend the next seven years with (heart melt). You are welcome to bring siblings, please keep in mind we are trying to keep numbers low and accommodate as many school starters as possible, but we get not everyone has a village.

Summer Play Pass
Summer Play Passes are now live to buy – £40 per child 
Valid from Mon 27 Jul to Sun 6 Sept (6 whole weeks of summer holidays includes weekends & Bank Holiday.
Each pass is for one child and up to two adults for one or two hour sessions.
Under 1’s sessions are £2.50 1hr & £5 2hrs or can buy above play pass.

The Full Hang Out Peak Play
Includes 28 hangout sessions per child, with up to two adults free per session.Valid Monday to Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sunday’s 11am – 5pm. This pass includes weekends, school holidays and half terms. Excludes special events and private parties.
Off Peak Play
Includes 20 hangout sessions per child, with up to two adults free per session. Valid Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm. Excludes weekends, school holidays, half term, special events and private parties.
We recommend all customers book online for guaranteed entrance.
For under 1’s you may purchase the standard play pass or buy hangout stay and play for under 1’s which is £2.50 per hour or £5.00 per two hours
Food & Drink
The Hang Out Venue operates a ‘No Picnic Policy’ for open play sessions. This means food and drink purchased elsewhere may not be consumed on the premises. The only exception to this is exclusive venue hire/full cabin hire & parties. This policy is necessary for us to comply with our liability insurance and to ensure we adhere to local health and safety regulations, and keep our families safe.
We have a snack bar and tuck shop selling a variety of snacks.
