ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, HANGOUTS FOR the whole FAMILy.

Life isn’t designed to be lived at 100 miles an hour. Sometimes, it’s about slowing down, connecting, being in the moment and making memories together.
The Hang Out Venue in Southend is run by two local mums and has a wonderfully relaxed, welcoming home-from-home community feel. It’s a place where children, families and friends can spend quality time together – whether you’re here to play, create, chat, relax or simply hang out.
There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained, including traditional toys, arts and crafts, knitting, crochet and sewing, table tennis, table football, air hockey, gaming, an eclectic selection of board games, chess, a book exchange, cosy reading areas and lots more.
There really is something for all ages.
Stay, Play & Get Together
We have fantastic family play rooms for Stay & Play, as well as a family-friendly meeting room and venue available to hire.
We’re also proud to work alongside many wonderful local community groups and services.
As a social enterprise, community and connection are at the heart of everything we do. Any profit we make helps us do more good, supporting our mission to enhance the lives of children, families and our wider community.
