Room Hire Information
When the hang out venue is not being used for the kids sessions, term time week days, our amazing venue is available to hire at the following times:
-full day (09.00–16:00)
-half day (09.00–12:00 or 13.00–16.00)
-2 hour slots (16:30 - 18:30 or 18:30 - 20:30) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday term time evenings.
All bookings include at no extra cost: Wifi, flip charts (including paper and pens), white board (and pens) projector and drinking water.
Enquires for school holidays bookings are welcome. However, The Hang Out kids sessions come first, so if the booking helps further our impact and mission please do get in touch to discuss.

Room 1 - Large cabin room
Our wonderful cabin has two rooms. This is the larger of the two with it's own amazing vibe.
Depending on room configuration, it can seat up to 15 people and includes a flip chart, white board and projector.
Currently set up with a small sofa, the most amazing chair and two large tables with 10 chairs. We can add another table and more chairs if needed.
There are a selection of board games and arts and crafts.
The cabin is wheelchair accessible. Toilets are located in the main room.
Room 2 - Small cabin room
The smallest of the two wonderful cabin rooms. It seats four people, and includes flip chart, white board and projector.
This is not available for individual hire, but is in included when the whole cabin or whole venue is booked. See options below.

Room 3 - Main room
The room with everything.
Seats 34 people, plus bean bags and stools. Can accommodate up to 50 people, depending on room layout. Hire includes flip chart, white board and projector at no extra cost.
Facilities also include arts and crafts, toys, gaming, table tennis, table football, air-hockey, pool, chess, board games, loom bands, jigsaws, marbles, children's book exchange and a reading area, plus more.
Toilets and snack bar are located in this room.
Option One
Exclusive full venue hire (Room 1, 2& 3)
-Reasonably priced snack bar, with staff member behind counter.
09:00 - 16:00 (7hrs) = £750.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £107.14)
09:00 - 12:00 (3hrs ) = £350.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £116.67)
13:00 - 16:00 (3hrs) = £350.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £116.67)

Option Two
Main room & large cabin room. (Room 3) & (Room 1).
- Snack bar will not be open.
- Price includes free teas, coffees, water, jugs of juice and biscuits for both rooms.
09:00 - 16:00 (7hrs) = £800.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £114.28)
09:00 - 12:00 (3hrs) = £400.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £133.33)
13:00 - 16:00 (3hrs) = £400.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £133.33)
Staff member will be in the small cabin office as must be onsite for insurance purposes.

Option Three
Exclusive hire of Room 3 (main room)
- Other customers will have access to toilets in main room, but not facilities.
- Reasonably priced snack bar for exclusive use, with staff member behind counter.

09:00 - 16:00 (7hrs) = £500.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £71.42)
09:00 - 12:00 (3hrs) = £350.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £116.67)
13:00 - 16:00 (3hrs) = £350.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £116.67)
Term Time Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
16:30 - 18:30 (2hrs) = £250.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £71.42)
18:30 - 20:30 (2hrs) = £250.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £71.42)

Option Four
Exclusive use of the full cabin (Room 1 & 2)
-Free teas, coffees, water & jugs of juice and biscuits included.
-Access to toilets in the main room, but not activities or snack bar. The cabin has some board games and arts & crafts.

09:00 - 16:00 (7hrs) = £375.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £71.42)
09:00 - 12:00 (3hrs) = £225.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £71.42)
13:00 - 16:00 (3hrs) = £225.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £71.42)

16:30 - 18:30 (2hrs) = £150.00 + VAT (*Hourly rate £75.00)

Catering
We have teamed up with Southend's famous Grumpy’s diner
Grumpy's are a local family run American diner. They offer a full range of food for all occasions. Their dishes are prepared on the premises daily, using the freshest ingredients. breakfast butties, pastries, Pizza, traditional buffets, a wide variety of American food, afternoon teas, vegan, gluten, diary free, bespoke menus and much more.
Customers may also arrange their own catering but will be responsible for allergies/ingredients management.
