HANGOUT PLAY SESSIONS

Round the up kids, turn the screens off and come hangout and relax. Life isn’t designed to be 100 miles an hour. It’s about connection, being in the moment and making memories. There’s so much to do for all ages. With traditional toys, variety of arts and crafts including knitting, crochet and sewing, table tennis, table football, air-hockey, Wii gaming, eclectic selection of board games, chess, book exchange and reading areas and so much more, there is truly something for everyone. Even adults get to relax too.

Sessions are for one or two hours.

Monday – Saturday 9am – 6pm

Sunday’s 11 – 5pm

Walk-ins are welcome. Advance bookings take priority.

The Full Hang Out Peak Play passes are £45 and give up to 28 hangout sessions per child, with up to two adults free per session. Valid Monday to Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sunday’s 11am – 5pm. This pass includes weekends, school holidays and half terms. Excludes special events and private parties.

Off Peak Play passes are £30.00 and give 20 hangout sessions per child (with up to two adults free per session). Valid Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm. Excludes weekends, school holidays, half term, special events and private parties.

We recommend all customers book online for guaranteed entrance.  Play pass = saving of  at least £189.80

NB: We do not have play pass for under 1’s. You may purchase this play pass if it will save you money. Hangout price for under 1’s is £2.50 per hour or £5.00 per two hours

Regular events

Weekly family friendly NA meetings start on 9th November 17:30 – 18:45. Addiction in any form ripples through families. It’s not only the person living with the addiction who suffers, but their children, families and friends. So, when we were asked if we’d be open to a potential new local NA group using our space for their weekly recovery meeting, we of course said yes. With bells on!

Face to face meetings, which is child friendly is needed. Not everyone has childcare and support. Those who have achieved abstinence are desperate to stay clean. People die everyday through addiction. Children lose parents.

family friendly networking

Held monthly on the third Thursday of each month are our relaxed networking events, held in collaboration with Winning Women. Running a business plus trying to connect with others is full on. If you have children you are welcome to bring them. Let them play, so you can enjoy a cuppa and network. Everyone is welcome.

Breastfeeding support

We are proud to host a monthly FREE Southend Supports Breastfeeding Pop Up. Come & meet the team behind Southend Supports Breastfeeding, The Specialist Health Visitors & Cake Club Parenting Support and connect with other parents. Includes sling and infant feeding support, if needed. Family friendly, relaxed venue with toys for all ages.

Food & Drink

The Hang Out Venue operates a ‘No Picnic Policy’ for open play sessions. This means food and drink purchased elsewhere may not be consumed on the premises.

The only exception to this is exclusive venue hire/parties. This policy is necessary for us to comply with our liability insurance and to ensure we adhere to local health and safety regulations.
